San Diego State gives Rocky Long fresh 5-year deal

San Diego State has agreed to a contract extension with head coach Rocky Long that will keep the 66-year-old locked up through the 2021 season.
The Aztecs announced the new deal Thursday. It replaces Long's previous contract, which was set to expire after the 2017 season.
Long, a three-time Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year, is 54-26 in six seasons with San Diego State and 22-6 over the last two years.
San Diego State has captured three conference titles under Long's watch.
