Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Friday, Jan. 20:

Dynamic Duos

  • PF Draymond Green (74K) & SF Andre Iguodala (35K), Warriors (at Rockets): Green is the Warrior to own Friday against Houston. The versatile power forward has combined for 23 points, 24 boards, 16 assists, and eight blocks in his past two games. Pair him with Iguodala's friendly price. The veteran's averaging nine points, 4.2 assists, and 3.4 boards through his past five.
  • PG Jeff Teague (75K) & C Myles Turner (72K), Pacers (at Lakers): Teague and Turner make for a great cash game duo against the Lakers' measly defense. Teague's been phenomenal in January, averaging 17.3 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds. Turner has been strong this month as well, notching 17.3 points and 9.6 boards.
  • PF Ersan Ilyasova (55K) & PG T.J. McConnell (54K), 76ers (vs. Trail Blazers): The Portland defense is an easy target in fantasy, especially for Ilyasova, who can shoot from deep and cement his value with a handful of boards. McConnell's established himself as a reliable fantasy play by playing roughly 30 minutes a night of late and handing out at least six assists in eight straight.

Bargain Plays

  • SF Brandon Ingram (34K), Lakers (vs. Pacers): SF Luol Deng is questionable Friday and hasn't practiced for the past two days. Assuming he sits, Ingram can expect to make his second straight start. 2016's second-overall pick has made some strides of late, averaging 12.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in his past eight games.
  • SG Joe Ingles (29K), Jazz (at Mavericks): Like Ingram, Ingles can also expect to make his second straight start with SG Rodney Hood out (knee). In four starts this year, the league leader in 3P% has averaged 13 points, four boards, and four assists. Ingles should be a near-lock to at least return cash game value.
  • PG Darren Collison (38K), Kings (at Grizzlies): Collison is more expensive than a preferred bargain play, but with PG Ty Lawson questionable and SF Rudy Gay out, he could be in line for a massive uptick in minutes and opportunity. While the matchup isn't ideal, Sacramento's lack of supporting cast is.

Top Fades

  • C DeMarcus Cousins (98K), Kings (at Grizzlies): Boogie's production going forward will be interesting to follow without Gay. Daily players should pass on him in this spot, however. Assuming even more defensive pressure from Memphis' already stout defense, Cousins is a major risk at this price tag. Go with another superstar instead.
  • PG D'Angelo Russell (68K), Lakers (vs. Pacers): Russell has scored under 10 points in four of his last five. He's also failed to hit 30 minutes in four straight. With his 3-point percentage sitting at 30.4 percent for the month and just 11.1 percent in his past five, there are plenty of better options at point guard.
  • SF Trevor Ariza (55K), Rockets (vs. Warriors): Ariza was absolutely stifled in Houston's previous matchup against Golden State, going 0-for-7 from deep. With the Warriors' perimeter defense being one of the best in the league and a specific matchup against SF Kevin Durant, there isn't much hope for Ariza.

Contrarian Options

  • SG Wesley Matthews (45K), Mavericks (vs. Jazz): Matthews seems to be breaking out of an early 2017 slump, registering 18 or more points in three of his past four games. He's shot 43.4 percent from deep at home this season and should see his usage rate climb if PF Dirk Nowitzki sits out this second leg of Dallas' back-to-back set.
  • PF Anthony Tolliver (41K), Kings (at Grizzlies): Much of the daily community will turn to either Matt Barnes or Garrett Temple as a way to capitalize on Gay's absence. Tolliver offers some dark horse appeal in this race, though. The veteran is averaging 9.5 points, and 3.9 boards this month and has played over 30 minutes in four of Sacramento's past five.
  • SF Michael Beasley (42K), Bucks (at Magic): Beasley's quietly been averaging 14.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in his past five games. An increase to 24 minutes a night over that stretch has been anchoring his increased production. Daily fantasy players should look to capitalize here as head coach Jason Kidd never-ending lineup tinkering continues.
