Carolina Panthers guard Trai Turner has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster, replacing the Washington Redskins' Brandon Scherff, who is unable to play due to injury.

Turner started all 16 games this season and was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2015, his second year as a pro. He will join tight end Greg Olsen, linebacker Thomas Davis, and fullback Mike Tolbert as representatives from the Panthers.

Emmanuel Sanders will join four Denver Broncos teammates at his second set of All-Star festivities as he replaces injured Oakland Raiders receiver Amari Cooper.

Also named as a Pro Bowl replacement is Cincinnati Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth. He will stand in for Raiders tackle Donald Penn on the AFC roster. Penn will miss the game with an injury as well. It will be the third Pro Bowl of Whitworth's career.
