Report: Arkansas' Dre Greenlaw to have foot surgery following setback

Jeremy Brevard / USA TODAY Sports

Dre Greenlaw's foot problems don't seem to be going away.

The Arkansas linebacker, who suffered a broken foot on Oct. 8 against Alabama, made his return in time for the Razorbacks' Belk Bowl defeat to Virginia Tech, only to injure the foot a second time.

Now into the offseason, Greenlaw appears to be having trouble with his foot yet again. The sophomore tweeted out Monday that he suffered a small setback in his injury recovery, and Danny West of HawgSports.com is reporting that Greenlaw will be undergoing surgery to correct the setback.

Prior to the initial injury, Greenlaw had recorded 37 tackles and one interception in Arkansas' first six games of the season. The sophomore managed to record six tackles in the Razorbacks' Belk Bowl loss despite re-aggravating the original injury.
