The New York Jets signed guard Brian Winters to a four-year contract extension.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team, but it was reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Winters' extension is worth nearly $8 million.
Winters was selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Kent State.
The 25-year-old started 13 games before being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
W inters was slated to become an unrestricted free agent this spring prior to the extension.
