In January 2015 Under Armour shredded their original contract with Jordan Spieth and gave him a 10-year extension, but part of the deal was to work towards designing a signature golf shoe.

On Tuesday, Spieth announced his new shoe, called the "Spieth One," will be unveiled in Tokyo and Korea next week.

"I'm going to head to Tokyo from here early next week to release my first shoe," said the two-time major winner. "I'm going to start wearing it right after that. I've been working right hard with Under Armour for a while on finalizing it. It's been a year in the making."

Spieth will also make stops in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and London, England to help promote the launching of the shoe.

"I'm really excited about Under Armour's commitment to allowing me to kind of help make this with them and to spread it around the world."

The Dallas, Texas native will play the Waste Management Phoenix Open in February.
