Washington State's Luke Falk confirms return for senior season

James Snook / USA TODAY Sports

Washington State will officially have the leader of its offense back in 2017.

Cougars quarterback Luke Falk confirmed Wednesday that he will return for his senior season.

It was widely believed that Falk would return and Cougars head coach Mike Leach was convinced of it in December.

Falk has been very productive in Leach's pass-happy offense, throwing for 38 touchdowns in each of the last two campaigns and combining for more than 9,000 yards through the air.

The Cougars finished in the top 20 in the country last season in total offense and third overall in the passing game.
