Derick E. Hingle / USA TODAY Sports

Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave isn't expected to return for the 2017 season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Raiders ranked seventh in scoring offense under Musgrave's tutelage, averaging 26 points per game in 2016.

He served as the Raiders' offensive coordinator for the past two seasons, previously working as the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterbacks coach.

Rapoport added that Musgrave's contract is expiring and Raiders quarterbacks coach Todd Downing may be in line for a promotion.
