Former Blues captain David Backes will make his return to St. Louis on Tuesday night. It will certainly be an emotional evening for Backes, who spent 10 years with the Blues before signing with Boston as a free agent this past offseason.
A situation like this begs the question, do you factor narratives into fantasy decisions? Are you more likely to draft Backes in daily fantasy tonight because he will be playing with his heart on his sleeve? Same goes for players in revenge games, playing in their hometown or against a sibling, for example.
