Chris Humphreys / USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings fired Scott Turner, sources told Alex Marvez of Sporting News.

The 34-year-old served as the Vikings quarterbacks coach from 2014-2016, previously working with the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.

Turner's father, Norv, resigned from his position as the team's offensive coordinator on Nov. 2.

Minnesota recently promoted Pat Shurmur as its permanent offensive coordinator, removing the interim tag.
