Lane Kiffin isn't worried about how Steve Sarkisian taking over play-calling duties will impact Alabama in the national title game.

The new Florida Atlantic head coach will be watching the game from Boca Raton and thinks Sarkisian will do an excellent job filling his role.

"He will do awesome," Kiffin told Brett McMurphy of ESPN. "He's one of the best game-day callers in all of football. It has been a seamless transition."

Despite leaving for another coaching job, Kiffin was originally supposed to stick with the Crimson Tide during their playoff run. Alabama head coach Nick Saban, though, ultimately decided to make the switch to Sarkisian earlier this week.

Kiffin and Sarkisian are still communicating about the offense leading up to Monday night's showdown.
