Swofford noncommittal on location for ACC Championship
ACC commissioner John Swofford said it was "premature" to discuss whether or not the ACC will continue to bar conference championships in the state of North Carolina due to the state's controversial House Bill 2, according to Brian Hamilton of SI.com.
In September, the conference voted to move the ACC championship in football, normally hosted in Charlotte, to Orlando citing HB2's targeted attack on members of the LGBT community.
The conference thought it would be able to return the game to Charlotte last month after it seemed the bill would be repealed; however, it failed when it went to a vote.
Based on Swofford's comments after coaches press conference, fair to assume his title game not going to back to NC unless HB2 is repealed.

During his media availability, Swofford spoke highly of Orlando and its ability to stage the conference championship game.
If ACC moves football title game out of N. Carolina again, John Swofford gives strong indication Orlando would be the destination.

Along with the football championship being moved from Charlotte, the ACC relocated nine other conference championships this season.
