The Buffalo Bills are interviewing Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin for their head coaching vacancy Saturday, the team confirmed.

Goodwin is one of many candidates that have been linked to the Bills' lead job since the late-season dismissal of Rex Ryan.

Widely considered to be a rising candidate in the coaching ranks, the 43-year-old first began to generate head coaching interest after a 2015 campaign in which he oversaw a Cardinals offense that ranked first in total yards and second in scoring.

The unit took a step back due to some regression from quarterback Carson Palmer this season, but a ninth-ranked finish in yards combined with a sixth-place standing in points still made for a relatively strong year.

Also reportedly in the mix for the job are interim head coach Anthony Lynn, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich, Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, and Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Kris Richard.
