Palermo's Sinisa Andjelkovic: Out Saturday versus Empoli

Andjelkovic (knee) didn't make the 23-man squad for Saturday's clash with Empoli.

Analysis:

Andjelkovic continues his recovery of a meniscus injury and with plenty of options at center back he won't be risked until fully healthy. The defender is not expected back in January. Thiago Cionek, Giancarlo Gonzales and Edoardo Goldaniga will battle for a starting spot in the heart of the Sicilians' defense.
