Perry Hills lived a nightmare facing Boston College's defensive line on Monday.

In a game that provided examples of the best and worst from each team, the Eagles' defensive line stood out from the rest. Boston College got to the Maryland gunslinger consistently throughout the game, registering eight sacks on the day, tying the school record.

The tenacious effort was able to earn MVP honors for not just one member of the defensive line, but the entire line as a unit.

A standout on the Eagles' line was defensive end Harold Landry who also wreaked havoc on Hills, intercepting a pass intended for wide receiver Levern Jacobs out of mid-air with one hand:

The victory was Boston College's first bowl win since the 2007 Champs Sports Bowl, where the Eagles downed Michigan State by a score of 24-21.
