Watch: Messi stupefies Osasuna defenders with dizzying effort

Lionel Messi cemented Barcelona's visit to Osasuna on Saturday with a dazzling 92nd-minute effort that left Los Rojillos' backline resembling a set of spinning tops who sipped from the wrong water bottle at the interval.

Messi has now scored 20 or more goals against five clubs, with Osasuna joining Real Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid among the attacker's most common victims.

It was the Argentine's second of the day and his 11th league goal of the campaign, moving ahead of Real's Cristiano Ronaldo for La Liga top spot. Luis Suarez scored the opener, giving him 10 on the season, good enough for joint-second with the stately Portuguese attacker.

A largely uneventful opening stanza yielded a treble of Blaugrana tallies after the break, as Barcelona came close to matching its midweek effort - a 4-0 drubbing of Borussia Monchengladbach.

With the 3-0 victory, Barcelona momentarily climbs within three points of table-topper Real with Los Blancos set to host Deportivo at the Santiago Bernabeu later Saturday.

Luis Enrique's lot has now won six of its eight away fixtures in the league, boasting a goal differential of plus-14 beyond the Camp Nou courtesy of a league-best 23 away goals.
