Isaiah Thomas wasn't going to take the floor Friday night against the Toronto Raptors due to a groin injury, so partaking in any pregame warmups wasn't on his itinerary.

Instead, the Boston Celtics' All-Star guard chilled in the stands at TD Garden and partook in some NBA 2K17 action on the jumbotron with some young fans.

Making sure his opponent didn't select the overpowered Golden State Warriors, Thomas went with one of the lowest-rated squads currently in the game in the Dallas Mavericks, taking a 22-6 lead into the second quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers.

"I wasn't playing no games," he said, according to MassLive.com's Jay King. "Usually I only play for money."
