Hold your breath, New Orleans Pelicans fans.

League sources tell ESPN's Justin Verrier and Royce Young that Anthony Davis was forced to undergo an X-ray following Sunday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

While Davis denies the report, the 6-foot-10 forward was seen hobbling early in the first quarter and was also observed getting treatment on his right foot following the contest.

Davis has already been held out of one game this season with a right thigh bruise, and missed 21 contests in 2015-16 with a left knee injury.

The 23-year-old put together another terrific individual performance in spite of the apparent injury versus Oklahoma City, finishing with 37 points and 15 rebounds in a 101-92 defeat.
