The College Football Playoff committee released its final playoff rankings Sunday, and the Big Ten champions came up one spot short.

Penn State fell into the No. 5 spot after defeating Wisconsin to earn its first conference championship since 2008. When the news of the Nittany Lions placement by the committee broke, Twitter began to provide some interesting reactions.

Television personality Skip Bayless agreed that a team did get robbed by the CFP committee in its rankings, but not Penn State.

Despite not making the playoffs, Nittany Lions quarterback Trace McSorely is already looking forward to his team's next opportunity.
