Raiders joining Athletics to help warehouse fire victims

After a fire at an Oakland warehouse party took the lives of nine people on Friday, the Raiders are joining up with the Athletics to raise money for those affected.

The Raiders have pledged $30,000 in contributions through a page on YouCaring.com established by the A's, and will observe a moment of silence before Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills in recognition of the victims and their families.

Both teams are encouraging fans to contribute to the fund which has a goal of raising $50,000, according to the donation page.
