Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals due to a shoulder injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing sources.

Reed suffered a Grade 3 AC joint separation last Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys but played through the injury, recording 10 catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

The tight end is an integral part of the Redskins' passing game, racking up a team-high 59 catches for 630 yards and five touchdowns.

If Reed can't play, expect Vernon Davis to take on a larger role Sunday.

Fantasy Fallout: Vernon Davis is capable of a passable Jordan Reed impression
