Khalil Mack featured at the University of Buffalo before he began terrorizing opposing NFL backfields for the Oakland Raiders. Mack will get a chance to do the same Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

The star defensive end could've stayed in Buffalo for his professional career, but at the 2014 NFL Draft, the Bills passed on him with the fourth overall pick, taking receiver Sammy Watkins instead. Mack ended up being drafted a pick later by the Raiders.

"I talk to Sammy about that every once in a while and tell him how he stole my city from me," Mack joked, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. "But it's going to be fun to (go) out there and play against them."

Watkins is the Bills top receiving threat, a weapon Buffalo desperately needed, but Mack is at the top of his game. He was named the NFL's defensive player of the week Wednesday, and the defensive player of the month Thursday.

"(Mack) and (Denver Broncos linebacker) Von Miller are the two best in the league right now, the two best edge pass-rushers and they can do it all," Bills head coach Rex Ryan said. "That's what I'm seeing from him - a guy that can play with speed, power, finesse. You name it, he's got it."
