If one thought the quarterback situation at Rutgers couldn't get much worse, one must think again.

Three Scarlet Knights signal-callers, including part-time starter Chris Laviano, are transferring out of the program. Backups Hayden Rettig and Mike Dare are also leaving the school with hopes of finding better situations elsewhere.

The announcements from each have come over a three-day period, according to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com.

Laviano posted a 48.3 completion percentage with five touchdowns and two interceptions in 2016. He came into the season as the starter, but lost the job midyear to Giovanni Rescigno.

Rutgers played to a 2-10 record this season, and went winless in Big Ten competition.
