Vikings' Diggs, Newman questionable for TNF vs. Cowboys

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Terence Newman are listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Diggs and Newman missed last week's loss to the Detroit Lions with knee and neck injuries, respectively.

While the official designations again leave the two at least somewhat uncertain to play, the fact that both were full participants by the end of the practice week indicates an expectation that they'll return.

Diggs getting back in the lineup and regaining his role as the No. 1 passing-game target would be a major upgrade for a struggling Vikings offense.

Immediately finding a rhythm with Sam Bradford, the second-year wideout has racked up 67 receptions for 747 yards and two touchdowns across nine appearances thus far.

At 38 years old, Newman has continued to play at a high level this season, and his ability to lock down opposing slot receivers is an X-factor on the defensive side of the ball.
