The Houston Dynamo announced a few roster moves on Monday, re-signing defender Jalil Anibaba to a new contract while making contract option decisions on 10 of its players.

The club picked up contract options on goalkeepers Joe Willis and Calle Brown, defender Kevin Garcia, and midfielders Eric Alexander and Alex Lima. At the same time, the Dynamo declined options on Sebastien Ibeagha, Rob Lovejoy, Cristian Maidana, Raul Rodriguez, and Zach Steinberger.

Maidana and Rodriguez are noteworthy in particular as the two played key roles in the 2016 season; however, the Dynamo finished the year in the Western Conference basement, so change is likely headed under new head coach Wilmer Cabrera.

Another big name is out of contract at the end of the year: DaMarcus Beasley has yet to agree to a new deal with the club. He's joined by defenders David Horst and Abdoulie Mansally and midfielder Collen Warner.

The club explained it is currently in talks with Beasley, Horst, Rodriguez, and Warner for potential returns in 2017.
