Cincinnati fans, Twitter ready to fire Tuberville after latest loss

Aaron Doster / USA TODAY Sports

Cincinnati's forgettable season continued with a 34-7 loss to Memphis on Friday, and it appears Bearcats fans don't want to remember another one with Tommy Tuberville.

The fourth-year coach has taken his fair share of heat this season, and with the Bearcats now 4-7, Twitter and Cincy fans alike seem ready to send the 52-year-old packing:

Tuberville's season has included several puzzling losses, a quarterback controversy, and the coach telling a fan to "go to hell, get a job."

He's now 29-21 in nearly four complete seasons with the Bearcats. As a head coach, Tuberville owns a career record of 159-98 across stints with Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech, and Cincinnati.
