Mackenzie Hughes continues to lead at RSM Classic

Mackenzie Hughes extended his outright lead to two shots at the RSM Classic, following his blazing opening round of 61 with a 5-under 67 on the Plantation course at Sea Island on Friday afternoon.

The PGA Tour rookie remains bogey-free for the tournament, and cashed in five birdies during his second round to reach 14-under.

He sits two shots ahead of C.T. Pan, who earned a share of the afternoon's low round with a 7-under 64.

Billy Horschel, Jim Furyk, and Brandt Snedker are among notable names that survived the cut line at 5-under.
