Matt Leinart to appear on 'The Simpsons'

Matt Leinart hasn't had to worry about planning for future opponents since 2012, so he's got plenty of time to fill in as Bart Simpson's dad.

The former Arizona Cardinals first-round pick will appear on Sunday's episode of "The Simpsons," sitting in for Homer on father duty in an episode entitled "Dad Behavior."

Leinart, a fan of the hit show for the past 20 years, will join Try Aikman, Dan Marino, and Joe Namath as NFL quarterbacks who have had the honor of appearing on the show.
