Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic: Ankle injury flares up

Kovacic suffered an ankle injury while playing for Croatia which will cut his international break short, Marca reports.

Analysis:

Kovacic was removed just after the first half because of the ankle injury. He will attempt to return for the Madrid derby 19 November. His services will be needed with Tony Kroos out with a broken foot and Casemiro also dealing with an injury.
