Mississippi State lands 4-star C Garrison Brooks

Garrison Brooks will join his father at Mississippi State, as the four-star center committed to the Bulldogs on Wednesday during a ceremony at his high school.

Brooks' father, George, is an assistant coach on Ben Howland's staff in Starkville, so it'll be a family affair for the SEC program next season.

Brooks was ranked by ESPN as the fourth-best prospect in the state of Alabama, and the 21st-best center in the country. He chose the Bulldogs over North Carolina, LSU, Auburn, and Georgia, among others.
