Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram suffered a right knee injury in Friday's matchup versus the Utah Jazz, according to ESPN's Mike Trudell.

Ingram returned after sustaining the injury, but was ruled out after being re-evaluated at halftime.

Fortunately for Lakers fans, Ingram doesn't consider the injury serious, saying he "felt fine" following the contest to ESPN's Baxter Holmes.

Drafted second overall this year, Ingram projects as one of the Lakers' top players. The 19-year-old forward fared well in his NBA debut Wednesday, collecting nine points and three rebounds in a win over the Houston Rockets. He had two points in four minutes before being forced from Friday's game.

If Ingram misses time, Luol Deng should see plenty of minutes in his stead.
