Rookie WRs Coleman, Thomas bicker about stats

For the most part, this year's crop of rookie wide receivers has been quiet.

First-round picks Laquon Treadwell and Josh Doctson have barely played, Corey Coleman has missed five games with a broken hand, and heralded receivers Tyler Boyd, Pharoh Cooper, and Tajae Sharpe have yet to make an impact.

Coleman, the 15th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns, was asked why the group has yet to make an impact.

"Because I haven't been out there," he said, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

There's one rookie receiver lighting it up, and he caught wind of Coleman's comment.

New Orleans Saints pass-catcher Michael Thomas leads all rookies with 36 receptions and 437 yards. And he has a message for Coleman.

"I'm not sure what he's watching, but he knows about me," Thomas said to Josh Katzenstein of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

"He's probably looking for some attention up there in Cleveland."
