Browns' Jackson: 'All signs' point to McCown starting vs. Jets

With starter Cody Kessler likely sidelined with a concussion, Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson said Thursday "all signs are pointing" to Josh McCown starting Sunday against the New York Jets.

McCown has been sidelined for five games after suffering a collarbone injury in Week 2.

The veteran pivot was a full participant in Wednesday practice, signalling he's healthy enough to return to action.

After Kessler was knocked out of Sunday's game, rookie Chris Hogan was forced into action, becoming the sixth quarterback under center for the Browns this season.

McCown was beaten out for the starting job in training camp by Robert Griffin III, who was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder jury after starting just one game.
