Colts' Moncrief expects to play vs. Chiefs

Indianapolis Colts receiver Donte Moncrief says he expects to return to the field this week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I'll be surprised if I'm not out there Sunday," Moncrief told reporters Wednesday, according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star.

Fantasy Fallout: Look for offensive inferno with Donte Moncrief back

The third-year wideout has been out since Week 2 with a shoulder injury.

In 16 appearances last season (10 starts), Moncrief made 64 catches for 733 yards and six touchdowns. With several Colts pass-catchers ailing this season, and 2015 first-round pick Phillip Dorsett failing to live up to expectations, Moncrief should return to a major role in the offense.
