Jets' Marshall touts Le'Veon Bell as a 'special player'

Jason Bridge / USA TODAY Sports

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall issued high praise for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell on Tuesday.

Bell, who was suspended for the first three games of the 2016 season, has rushed for 344 yards on 69 attempts across four contests, adding 30 receptions for 245 yards. With those numbers, Bell is making his case to be considered the NFL's premier running back.

Marshall was sufficiently impressed with Bell's talent.

"I see why the Steelers are being patient with Le'Veon Bell and letting him mature because this guy is a special player," Marshall said on Showtime's "Inside the NFL."

Marshall got a first-hand glance at Bell's skill set in Week 5, as the Steelers routed the Jets 31-13.
