Jaguars' Ramsey: I'll get ejected again if someone disrespects me

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is proving to be among the NFL's most volatile players. And he says he has no plans to change.

The first-round pick was ejected from Sunday's loss to the Oakland Raiders for fighting with Raiders receiver Johnny Holton his second unsportsmanlike-conduct foul of the game.

Ramsey didn't sound contrite about the incident Monday.

"They don't want me to say this but I would do it again. I won't be disrespected," Ramsey said, according to Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union.

If Ramsey is so concerned about being respected, he should perhaps start by practicing what he preaches.

Already in his rookie season, Ramsey has said he has no respect for Baltimore Ravens receiver Steve Smith and called out Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

While Ramsey has shown flashes of being a future shutdown corner and perhaps a player whose play will one day be respected around the league, picking fights with two of the most highly regarded players in football as a rookie is a questionable move.
