Watch: Chargers earn OT win after Falcons' failed 4th-down attempt

Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

Following a failed fourth-down conversion in overtime at their own 44-yard line, the Atlanta Falcons suffered their second straight loss on Sunday, falling 33-30 to the San Diego Chargers.

Josh Lambo knocked in a 42-yard game-winning field goal after his team was set up in ideal field position - the defense stuffed Falcons running back Devonta Freeman on a fourth-and-one.

The Chargers had to fight back from a 27-10 deficit to force overtime with Lambo cashing in a 33-yarder with 18 seconds to go, forcing the extra frame. The Falcons had a chance to close it out in regulation, but kicker Matt Bryant could only reach the crossbar on a 58-yard attempt as time expired.
