Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray is officially active Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing each of the last two games with turf toe.

Murray's return comes at the perfect time for a Raiders offense that's struggled to pick up consistent rushing yards in following up a dominant three-week stretch to open the season.

Barring a limitation to his workload, the 26-year-old should immediately jump ahead of rookies DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard to re-emerge as the lead back.

Murray took his 40 carries for 172 yards and three touchdowns over the first four games of the season before being forced to the sidelines.
