Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk denied rumors that her franchise is up for sale, after it was reported rock star Bon Jovi was leading a group interested in acquiring the organization.

"The team is not for sale," Strunk told Tom Pelissero of USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday at the NFL meetings. "I don't know how many different ways to say it. Haven't talked to Bon Jovi or anybody else for that matter, and it's not for sale."

The franchise was left without a clear succession plan after longtime owner Bud Adams died in 2015, and the Titans remain non-compliant with NFL requirements pertaining to legal control under a single owner.

But Strunk indicated those issues would be worked out, keeping the Titans in the Adams family.

"It's part of our heritage - my dad’s legacy," Strunk said. "We're not going anywhere."
