Rivers: Clippers unlikely to pursue Bosh

Center DeAndre Jordan was first to hint the Los Angeles Clippers should explore making a move for All-Star forward Chris Bosh, even saying he'd be willing to come off the bench to make room for him in the starting lineup.

Bosh has yet to receive medical clearance to return, though, and the Miami Heat don't seem intent on parting ways with him earlier than they have to.

Approached by TMZ Sports outside of a Los Angeles restaurant over the weekend, Clippers head coach and president of basketball operations Doc Rivers was asked whether or not he'd be interested in bringing Bosh aboard.

"I doubt it. I don't know," Rivers said. "I just want him to be healthy. That's what's important."

Bosh's past two seasons have been cut short after blood clots were found in his lungs and his leg. He's been working tirelessly to get back on the hardwood, although that definitely won't be as a member of the Heat. The 32-year-old's latest failed physical exam essentially ended their working relationship.

Bosh averaged 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 53 games during the 2015-16 campaign in what will likely be his last-ever appearances ever in a Heat uniform.
