Newton sets Panthers all-time passing yards record

Cam Newton became the Carolina Panthers' all-time leader in passing yards Sunday.

The sixth-year pro entered Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints needing 21 yards to surpass Jake Delhomme as the franchise leader. Newton accomplished that feat with his second completion of the day.

Newton now has 19,279 career passing yards, and counting.
