Dodgers, Nationals play longest 9-inning playoff game in MLB history

It was worth the wait.
Game 5 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals lasted 4 hours and 32 minutes, making it the longest nine-inning postseason game in MLB history.
When the dust settled, the Dodgers punched their ticket to the NLCS with a 4-3 win, as the Nationals left the tying and go-ahead runs at second and first, respectively.
