TFC's Bradley to discuss future after season

Amid reports linking him with a Serie A return, Toronto FC midfield metronome Michael Bradley has said that he'll wait until the end of the MLS season to make a decision about his future.

Bradley, 29, joined the Eastern Conference playoff side in 2014 after underwhelming spells with Chievo and Roma in Italy's top flight, with recent reports suggesting that the USMNT captain could be poised for a return to Serie A.

"That's football - there's always things flying around," Bradley said ahead of Tuesday's international friendly against New Zealand.

With two matches left in the MLS regular season and a pivotal November World Cup qualifier tilt with rival Mexico on the horizon, Bradley would prefer to focus on other matters beyond a potential Serie A switch.

"November is obviously on everybody's mind. And then there will be time as always at the end of the season to figure out to sit down and talk - what went well, what didn't - and find the right way forward."

Toronto FC is slated for a deep playoff run after getting unceremoniously bounced in its maiden post-season venture by the Montreal Impact last season, and with the club setting its sights on the MLS Cup Final, Bradley appears content to focus on the now.

"You guys try to make different comparisons and moments, and obviously in a lot of ways we just concentrate on what's in front of us."

Under contract with the club through 2019, the MLS' third-highest paid player has appeared in 22 matches for Greg Vanney's lot after a knee injury saw him miss eight fixtures between June and August. Sitting third in the table behind the two New York clubs, Bradley is fixated with TFC meeting its potential above all else.

"I think the way that we were able to dominate large, large stretches of these home games I think gives us real optimism," Bradley said. "Again, on the flip side of that, we've not taken out of it what we should have."
