Saturday was not a good day for USC on the injury front.

Head coach Clay Helton announced Sunday that defensive back Jonathan Lockett suffered an AC shoulder sprain in the game against Colorado, according to Ryan Abraham of USCFootball.com. Helton also confirmed that linebacker John Houston Jr. suffered a minor knee injury during the tilt.

Lockett saw his first action of the season against Utah on Sept. 23, and has since recorded 12 total tackles as well as an interception in the Trojans' game against Arizona State.

The junior defensive back joins starting running back Justin Davis on the Trojans' injury list, who Helton confirmed suffered a high-ankle sprain and does not yet have a timetable for his return.
