For the San Francisco 49ers, life with Anthony Davis has been a roller coaster.
The 49ers used there 11th overall pick on the offensive lineman in the 2010 draft and Davis became a high-level tackle on the right side of the offense. But after four years of solid play, Davis abruptly retired after the 2014 season and spent a year away from football, only to return this offseason.
He retired for a second time last week and made sure to thank his employers via Twitter on Saturday for his five-plus-year career.
