Scully story generator creates customized narratives

For those who always wanted their very own Vin Scully story, your opportunity has arrived.

In honor of Scully's last game as Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster on Oct. 2 - when the Dodgers conclude their season on the road against the San Francisco Giants - Cut4 has created a Scully story generator which allows users to type in a name, and have a story told by the 88-year-old legend.

Scully called his final home game at Dodger stadium Sept. 25 and, as his 67-year career winds down, he continues to garner attention outside of baseball. His single on iTunes from a memorable cover of Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings" was released Monday as the rendition was made in honor of his wife Sandra's birthday, and quickly became one of his many memorable moments.
