Virginia's season hasn't even started, but they're already making a statement.

Cavaliers guard London Perrantes shared a picture Thursday of the team kneeling together in a show of solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.

Virginia head coach Tony Bennett gave his support for the decision.

"Our guys realize there are a lot of issues going on in our country," Bennett said. "I support their desire to promote peace and equality."

It remains to be seen if they'll follow Kaepernick's lead and kneel during the national anthem when the season gets underway.
