Steelers' Bell set for significant workload in return from suspension

The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't about to waste a minute getting Le'Veon Bell back into the mix.

Head coach Mike Tomlin hinted Tuesday that the star playmaker will immediately reemerge as the featured back upon returning from his three-game suspension this week.

"Rest assured, you're going to see Le'Veon Bell and a lot of him Sunday," Tomlin said, according to Gerry Dulac of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

DeAngelo Williams has been everything Pittsburgh could have asked for during Bell's extended absences over the past two years, and he'll certainly still see his fair share of opportunities in rotation.

Bell remains arguably the NFL's premier back both in the ground game and as a receiver out of the backfield, though, so it only makes sense that the team envisions him as the offensive centerpiece.

The Steelers will be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles when they play host to the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL's 11th-ranked defense in prime time on Sunday night.
