Colts place Trent Cole on IR

The Indianapolis Colts placed outside linebacker Trent Cole on injured reserve Tuesday with a back injury.
Cole, 33, signed a two-year deal with the Colts last offseason. He recorded a career-low three sacks in his first season with the team.
Earlier this year, Cole agreed to reduce his 2016 base salary from $4.25 million to $2 million.
