MRI confirms Wilson sprained MCL, may be rested in Week 4

An MRI confirmed Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee, head coach Pete Carroll said Monday.
Carroll was a guest on 710 ESPN and said his quarterback "feels great" and is recovering well after the injury, which came Sunday only two weeks after Wilson sprained his right ankle.
The quarterback is "moving around walking fine," Carroll said. "Can’t tell anything (happened)."
Carroll said he anticipates Wilson could play in Week 4 against the New York Jets with a brace on his knee, but conceded the Seahawks may opt to rest him.
Seattle has a Week 5 bye, so sitting Wilson would give the passer two full weeks to get healthy.
